General Responsibilities
- Direct and lead the Madrigals choir, focusing on vocal technique, musicality, and ensemble performance.
- Plan and conduct regular rehearsals, ensuring students are well-prepared for performances.
- Select appropriate repertoire that reflects the madrigal tradition and challenges students musically.
- Organize and coordinate performances, including school concerts, community events, and competitions.
- Arrange logistics for performances, including venues, transportation, and attire.
- Promote and publicize choir performances within the school and the community.
- Foster an environment of creativity, teamwork, and mutual respect among choir members.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, rehearsal schedules, and performance dates.
- Coordinate with school administration, parents, and community partners to support the choir program.
- Seek opportunities for the choir to perform at community events and engage with broader audiences.
