General Responsibilites

  • MTSS Implementation: Lead the planning, development, and implementation of the district's MTSS framework, including the establishment of tiered interventions and supports to address the diverse needs of students.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to student performance, behavior, and attendance to inform decision-making and identify areas for intervention and improvement within the MTSS framework.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, support staff, and families to develop and implement individualized intervention plans for students in need of additional support, ensuring alignment with MTSS principles and best practices.
  • Professional Development: Provide training and professional development opportunities for school staff on MTSS practices, evidence-based interventions, progress monitoring, and data-driven decision-making to build capacity and ensure fidelity of implementation.
  • Progress Monitoring: Develop and implement systems for ongoing progress monitoring and evaluation of intervention effectiveness, adjusting supports and strategies as needed to maximize student outcomes.
  • Family Engagement: Foster positive and collaborative relationships with families and caregivers, providing resources, support, and communication about MTSS initiatives, interventions, and student progress.
  • Community Collaboration: Establish and maintain partnerships with community agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to enhance support services for students and families within the MTSS framework.
